Mok In Museum, which opened in Insa-dong, Jongno-gu in 2006, moved to Buam-dong and reopened under a new name Mok In Museum Mok Seok Won in 2019.
Mok In from all over the world are on display in 7 indoor exhibition halls. Outdoor exhibition which is about 9917㎡ offers Korean stone statues such as Moon In Seok (Civil Officer), Moo In Seok(Military Officer) and Dong Ja Seok(Child attendants). Visitors can also meet various stone statues from Japan, China and other countries in Asia.
The museum aims to become a healing and cultural space in the city which allows you to enjoy nature and art.
We hope that visitors fully appreciate the beautiful scenery of Inwangsan (Mt. Inwang) and Bukhansan (Mt. Bukhan), and the magnificence of Hanyangdoseong (Seoul City wall) and the true beauty of Korean cultural heritage in nature.
